Roni Green
Roni Green is running for the State House in the 190th District, representing Philadelphia County.
Roni Green has spent over 30 years as a community and labor leader speaking up for working families and Philadelphia’s most vulnerable residents. Roni previously served as a State Representative for her district at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, working to address food insecurity, the unemployment crisis, and the lack of affordable housing. She co-sponsored numerous pieces of legislation and introduced legislation to raise the minimum wage, provide free broadband to low-income housing, and forgive loans for nurses. As a State Representative, Roni will continue the work that she started, as well as promote a just transition for workers in the fossil fuel industry to green, union jobs.
We believe Roni Green will again be a fierce advocate for her community and the environment in the State House, and we urge the voters of the 190th District to send her to Harrisburg in November.
