Josh Maxwell

Josh Maxwell is running for Chester County Commissioner.

Josh is in his third term as the youngest ever Mayor of Downingtown. As Mayor, Josh has been a driver of economic change and job growth and a champion of social justice and equality. Josh committed to 100% renewables by 2050 as Mayor. He is also committed to working towards a clean energy grid for the county.

Josh has committed to working with the state legislature to strengthen DEP regulations and oversight. Josh would also work to educate local municipalities regarding zoning and ordinances that could be proactive in alleviating pipeline safety concerns. Josh also plans to work on public transportation and greenways by continuing to advocate for increased rail service as well as more bike paths and trails.

We are confident that Josh will be a strong environmental advocate, and we urge voters to elect him on November 5.
