Bruce Kraus
Council President Bruce Kraus is running for re-election to Pittsburgh City Council in the 3rd district.
Councilman Kraus was first elected in 2008, and in 2014 he was elected President of Pittsburgh City Council. He is a supporter of continued investment in green infrastructure to help fix the city’s stormwater and sewage issues, and supports the adoption of Pittsburgh’s Climate Action Plan 3.0 which would mandate an 80% reduction in greenhouse-gas emissions by 2050. Councilman Kraus will continue to be an advocate for protecting Pittsburgh’s water from privatization as well as addressing the city’s lead problem.
We know that Council President Bruce Kraus will continue to be a strong voice for environmental protection on Pittsburgh City Council. and we encourage you to re-elect him to lead District 3 on November 5!
