Izzy Smith-Wade-El - HD-49 (Won)

Representative Smith-Wade-El is running for reelection to the 49th State House District, which is a part of Lancaster County. He earned a 100% on the 2023-2024 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard.

Rep. Smith-Wade-El previously worked with the Lancaster County Homelessness Coalition to secure housing for Lancaster’s most vulnerable people, and also served on the City Council, where he worked with communities to secure investments in safe and affordable housing and to change the city police’s use of force policy. As state representative, he has been a strong advocate for the environment, introducing a bill that would prohibit homeowners associations from preventing homeowners from installing solar energy on their roofs.

We’re confident Rep. Smith-Wade-El will continue his great work in the State House. We urge voters of the 49th District to reelect him in November.
