Fern Leard - HD-120

Fern Leard is running for State Representative for the 120th House District, which is a part of Luzerne County.

Fern worked in the healthcare space for over a decade where she worked in pediatrics and with elderly patients. She has advocated for bills in Congress to expand coverage for Medicaid patients which have passed with bipartisan support.

As State Representative, Fern will work to bolster funding for state environmental agencies, so that they have the resources and staffing necessary to conduct their duties. Fern has seen the effects that harmful air pollution has had on her patients and community members. She will work to bolster air pollution reduction measures for industrial plants.

We’re confident that Fern will be a strong advocate for the environment in Harrisburg, and we encourage voters in the 120th District to vote for her in November.
