Jean Foschi
Jean is running for re-election as Cumberland County Commissioner. Prior to her work as Commissioner, Jean worked as a paralegal, title agent, restaurateur, and fitness professional. She also served on the Upper Allen Township’s Zoning Hearing Board.
During her first term as Commissioner, Cumberland County adopted a Climate Change Action Plan that was prepared in conjunction with DEP and was adopted by the Board of Commissioners in 2022. The County recently embarked on a plan to begin replacing its vehicle fleet with electric vehicles. Jean recognizes that Cumberland County suffers from some of the worst air pollution in the nation, so she is working on the opportunities available via the Inflation Reduction Act, and she is committed to finding real ways to lessen that pollution. She has also pushed for pipeline hazard mitigation plans and has done her best to assist residents who have suffered from property damage and water pollution from pipeline construction.
Jean has been a proven environmental leader for Cumberland County. We strongly encourage you to re-elect her on November 7.
