Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania Executive Director Molly Parzen has issued the following statement in response to Gov.-Elect Josh Shapiro's decision to appoint CVPA Political and Legislative Director Katie Blume to his transition team:
We are excited that one of our state's leading environmental champions was selected to work on Gov.-Elect Shapiro's transition team. Katie represents the tens of thousands of CVPA members who worked tirelessly to elect environmental champions up and down the ballot. We look forward to working with Gov.-Elect Shapiro on helping to develop a policy agenda that champions the Environmental Rights Amendment, protects our most vulnerable communities and creates good-paying union jobs for working families as we build a 21st century economy powered by clean energy.
