Shanna Danielson
Shanna Danielson is running for the State Senate in the 31st District, representing parts of Cumberland and York Counties.
Shanna earned her bachelor's degree in Music Education from Mansfield University, and teaches in the Cameron County School District. In 2014, she earned the Outstanding Young Music Educator award from the Pennsylvania State Music Educators Association. Shanna is active with the Capital Region chapter of MOMS Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Capital Region Stands Up, the Pennsylvania State Education Association, and a founding member of the Northern York Democratic Club. Shanna lives with her husband and son in Dillsburg.
Shanna will fight to end our dependence on the extraction industry by sponsoring legislation to invest in renewable energy and has committed to supporting legislation that would provide job training so that any energy transition is just and fair. She supports increased investment in low income communities by expanding energy efficiency upgrade programs and green public transportation options. She is running against an opponent who scored a 0% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard, voting against the environment every opportunity he had.
We urge voters to support Shanna Danielson, the pro-environment choice, for election to the State Senate in District 31.
