Amanda Cappelletti
Amanda Cappelletti is running for the State Senate in the 17th District, representing Montgomery and Delaware Counties.
Amanda is an attorney and the current Vice Chair of East Norriton Board of Supervisors. She is a former fellow for ACLU of PA, a children’s advocate, and Director of Policy for Planned Parenthood.
Her environmental priorities include preserving open space, combating climate change, and increasing funding for the Department of Environmental Protection. She would also support enacting a moratorium on fracking and establishing a natural gas severance tax. In her role on the Board of Supervisors, she has worked to identify ways East Norriton can be more sustainable - from approving the purchase and installation of electric car chargers at the township building, to looking into purchasing electric vehicles for the township and police department. Amanda also believes in bringing Green New Deal policies to Pennsylvania, and would support expanded stormwater infrastructure.
