Judge Maria McLaughlin

Judge Maria McLaughlin is running for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Maria is currently a sitting Superior Court Judge and is highly recommended by the Pennsylvania Bar Association. She previously worked as a division chief in the Philadelphia District Attorney's office before becoming a judge in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and then the Superior Court.

Judge McLaughlin believes that every judge has an obligation to equally protect every right and provision within the United States and Pennsylvania Constitutions. Those rights extend to Article 27, the Environmental Rights Amendment, with clear and broad language leaving room to interpret how they apply to future potential environmental concerns. Judge McLaughlin believes it is the duty of a judge to review the specific facts of each case that is before the court, and apply the law fairly to those facts to ensure the rights of our citizens are protected.

We urge voters to support Judge Maria McLaughlin, the pro-environment choice, for election to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
