Dr. Monica Taylor

Dr. Monica Taylor is running for Delaware County Council. 

A former professional basketball player, collegiate coach, and professor, Monica previously worked at West Point and East Stroudsburg University. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. 

A resident of Drexel Hill, Monica will advocate for clean water, breathable air, and healthy communities if elected to County Council. She recognizes that climate change threatens every aspect of our lives, particularly for low-income communities and communities of color, and she is committed to mitigating those damages. She is a vocal supporter of clean energy, improving green spaces, and would work to move the County away from dangerous fossil fuel infrastructure like pipelines. 

We know that Dr. Monica Taylor will be a strong advocate for the environment on the Delaware County Council, and we encourage you to vote for her on November 5.
