District 8 Seat (Philadelphia) - Seth Anderson-Oberman

Seth Anderson-Oberman

Seth Anderson-Oberman is running for the open seat on the Philadelphia City Council in District 8.

Seth Anderson-Oberman has organized with folks to fight for their rights. Seth helped forge a broad multi-racial coalition that won leadership of Temple Student Government and fought to increase recruitment and retention efforts for Black students. He also helped found the Philadelphia Labor for Black Lives Coalition to bring Black labor more prominently into the fight against structural racism.

Seth will work to help cultivate and protect green space, advocate for a Green New Deal in our schools and city, and work to green the workforce and infrastructure. He will also defend residents from the privatization of public utilities and work to enforce dumping regulations in the 8th district. Seth will work with other council members to make sure that environmental and climate-action programs work for low-income, working-class Philadelphians in Germantown, Nicetown, and Tioga.

We strongly urge you to vote for Seth Anderson-Oberman for Philadelphia City Council in District 8 on May 16!
