Sen. Art Haywood
Senator Art Haywood is running for re-election in the 4th Senate district, which includes portions of Northwest Philadelphia and Montgomery County.
Senator Haywood has been committed to protecting our right to clean water, breathable air, and protected land. He earned a 100% on the 2019-2020 Pennsylvania Environmental Scorecard and has a 100% Lifetime Score.
Sen. Haywood has been leading efforts to ensure that all schools are tested for lead, a key step to preventing lead poisoning in many children. Sen. Haywood penned an op-ed called for passage of the federal infrastructure bill in order to invest in lead pipe remediation in the commonwealth. A firm believer that we must utilize renewable energy sources, Sen. Haywood has cosponsored Go 100% Pennsylvania, important legislation to achieve 100 percent clean energy by 2050.
The 4th District has a committed environmental leader in Sen. Haywood, and we urge his constituents to send him back to Harrisburg to continue to hold big polluters accountable and fight for clean air, water, and land for all Pennsylvanians.
