Rep. Joanna McClinton
State Representative Joanna McClinton is running for re-election in the 191st district, which comprises part of Philadelphia and Delaware Counties.
Rep. McClinton is an attorney who worked as a public defender and for a state senator before being elected to the State House in 2014. Rep, McClinton made history when she was elected the first woman to lead the House Democratic Caucus.
One of Leader McClinton’s priorities is to invest in students and public schools across the commonwealth. A quarter of Philadelphia students have asthma due to poor air quality, and that issue is exacerbated by the lack of investment in their schools. Leader McClinton has fought to remove toxins, including asbestos and lead contamination, from Pennsylvania schools to improve the lives of students and staff and to create good, union jobs.
Rep. McClinton is a leader in the House and a fighter for the Philadelphia residents she represents. We encourage the voters in the 191st district to vote to send Rep. McClinton back to Harrisburg in November.
