Rep. Kyle Mullins
Representative Kyle Mullins is running for re-election to the State House in the 112th district, serving part of Lackawanna County.
Rep. Mullins was a crucial ally for environmental protection when he served as Legislative Director to our good friend former Senator Blake, helping us fight back against bad legislation. Now as a member of the legislature, Rep. Mullins's fight for environmental protection has not changed. One of his priorities is for all families to have clean air and safe drinking water.
Rep. Mullins supports a severance tax to ensure that drillers pay their fair share and to create steady investments in local communities, especially those impacted by pipeline construction or compressor stations. He has introduced legislation to require environmental safeguards and community host fees to be paid by power plant owners to communities for various projects, including green space programs and stormwater management. Rep. Mullins supports efforts to increase recycling so that there’s less burden on local landfills, and he wants to see the Department of Environmental Protection get the funding it needs to protect Pennsylvania citizens from industrial and drilling pollution.
Representative Mullins will continue to fight to protect the health of Pennsylvanians and the health of the environment. We encourage voters in the 112th district to send him back to Harrisburg this November.
